Detroit was founded in 1701 by Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac and a convoy of French settlers. Le Rendez-vous du Détroit is a celebration of Detroit’s rich Native American and French heritages. 

At Le Rendez-vous du Détroit, you’ll explore the sights and sounds of 18th century Détroit, with live French Canadian and Native American music and dancing; food; cultural exhibits; historical reenactors demonstrating 18th century living skills and traditions; a Silent Auction; 18th century children’s games and crafts and more!
